Texas Mountain Laurels

Have you ever wanted to find a flower that smells EXACTLY like grape kool-aid? Well, look no further!

These Texas Mountain Laurels are some of the most fragrant flowers you might find growing in your yard. They’re beautiful, and so soft to the touch!

I captured this bunch of flowers as the sun was setting. The sun created this gorgeous bokeh effect.

I used the Canon 5d MKIII and the 85mm f/1.2 at f/1.2.

I have really been enjoying what local Texas has to offer the universe lately.

Upon a ridiculously early stroll in New Braunfels, I stumbled upon this gorgeous gazebo. The sun was peaking in and out of the clouds, and it was fun playing with how the light changed the feel of the surroundings. I chose the direct sunlight image as I couldn’t resist the beautiful light kissing the trees.

There is an alternate reality version of this image with all soft lighting. It didn’t suit the handmade nature of the gazebo.
